FAQ

My mill is no longer grinding. What should I do?

Fear not. The most common cause of this issue is the handle working loose over time.

My grandparents' mill cannot be taken apart, which means, one day something will inevitably break and it won't be easily repairable.

I specifically designed our mills to be fully serviceable.

There is a small grub screw that connects the handle to the spindle allowing you to fully dismantle the mill.

To fix this issue, simply loosen the grub screw using a standard hex 2mm Allen key, remove the handle, put the handle back on (being careful to line up the grub screw hole and the slot on the spindle) and then tighten the grub screw.

Voilla - Your mill should be back in action!

How should I care for my mill?

Our mills are easy to care for - Please follow the instructions below to maximise their working life.

1. Please do not put salt in our pepper mills. The grinding components don't have the same corrosion-resistant coating as our salt mills, and they may rust.

2. Please do not put any of our products through the dishwasher.

*Simply wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.

3. Ensure you're careful not to trap your fingers in the grinding components of the mill.

4. Our mills are heavy, be careful when handling them and avoid storing them near the edges of surfaces.
