We offer hassle free returns on all orders.
All items delivered within 30 days can be returned for an exchange or refund for any reason.
The cost of return postage is to be paid by the customer unless the order has been incorrectly supplied or is faulty.
We will refund or exchange returned items as long as they're sent back to us complete with all packaging, tags and are unused (i.e. the same as they were received).
Normally refunds and exchanges will be processed on the same day the goods are received back by us.
Orders from outside the UK: The cost of carriage for sending an exchange item to an overseas address will be payable before the replacement item is sent.

We offer a 10 year warranty on our grinding mechanism components. This does not cover cosmetic or paint issues, accidental or malicious damage.

Our mills are easy to care for - Please follow the instructions below to maximise their working life.
1. Please do not put salt in our pepper mills. The grinding components don't have the same corrosion-resistant coating as our salt mills, and they may rust.
2. Please do not put any of our products through the dishwasher.
*Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
3. Ensure you're careful not to trap your fingers in the grinding components of the mill.
4. Our mills are heavy, be careful when handling them and avoid storing them around the edges of surfaces.

Professional Swiss Grinding Burr Set
We use a Swiss grinding mechanism in each of our mills. 'Swiss Made' is synonymous with quality ubiquitously, and our grinders certainly don't disappoint.
The burrs have been specifically designed to extract the best flavour by stripping the peppercorns instead of crushing them.
The precision carbon steel grinding mechanism is durable and long-lasting, plus we've added a tin coating to every salt mill to prevent corrosion.

Quality kit
Love our new pepper mill. We were fed up with cheaper versions that lost their grinding ability. Early days yet but our Iron Mills model grinds beautifully. And the bonus is you can use it as a cosh if you have an intruder into your home!

The mills come in great packaging. The mills themselves are very stout and have a great heft to them. The grinding action is low effort and smooth. These are the type of thing you could pass on through your family forever, like a cast iron pan. They may seem pricey, but if you compare the cost to any well made wooden grinders they're the same or cheaper, and will last longer.

I am a fan. It's a robust, yet modern interpretation of a British classic utilitarian pepper/salt grinder. The mechanism can be adjusted, depending on your desired level of coursness and it appears to be a product that will last and stand the test of time - I do hope so. The colors are great and there are some nice touches, such as the "p" or "s" on the handle, depending upon your order. Beyond that Iron Mills offer very good customer post-sales support. So, over the past couple of years we have a collection of three. So yes, I am a fan of Iron-Mills
