Pre-Order - Terms & Conditions

First of all, please let me thank you for visiting my store. I'm thrilled to have you here, and I'm looking forward to getting our mills into your hands soon.

We're a new company, born out of the first national Covid-19 lockdown. The testing and trialling phase is now complete and we've moved into the manufacturing phase of our journey.

Since our journey began, we've shipped hundreds of orders, and received scores of praise.

I'm very humbled to say that demand has continued to outstrip supply, in part, this is due to the lengthly lead times due to the moulding, casting, machining, paint and assembly processes required to bring our mills to life.

We commissioned a 'material migration' test, to satisfy our legal requirements under Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. I'm pleased to report that our mills surpass the acceptable migration levels for materials and articles in contact with food as per UK/EU law.

It is important to me that you understand the terms & conditions associated with pre-ordering products from our website before you part with your hard earned money.

I hope the terms below are favourable to you and they'll put your mind at ease before placing an order with us.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

The next batch of mills is expected to be returned from paint, ready for assembly by 05/11. We're aiming to ship these by no later than 15/11.

Depending on your colour preference we're now almost sold out from this batch. If you'd like to check our stock levels before ordering, you can do so by emailing me directly via

We have a much larger batch that have been cast and are waiting to be machined that we're pushing hard to have ready for delivery in time for Christmas.

However, there are a lot of moving pieces, are we find ourselves in a constantly precarious position of late, one can't predict the next crisis! We will endeavour to fulfil all orders in time for Christmas, but please be conscious that delivery times could be 13 weeks from the day you purchase.

We will keep you well informed as things progress. If you subscribe to email marketing, we'll send you a weekly progress update. If you opt out of email communication, you can find our updates below, or in the blog section.

I am happy to refund your order within 48 hours from when the order was placed (if for example you were unaware of the long lead time).

I will e-mail all customers upon receiving an order to explain the current lead times expected.

After this point, I will be unable to refund the order if you change your mind - as I will have placed an order with my suppliers.

These terms do not affect your right to return your order if there is a defect when you receive it. Plus, I will work with all customers on colour swaps and support all issues, where possible.

I am happy to issue refunds if the delivery time exceeds what I've outlined above.

We offer hassle free returns on all orders.

All items delivered within 30 days can be returned for an exchange or refund for any reason.

The cost of return postage is to be paid by the customer unless the order has been incorrectly supplied or is faulty.

We will refund or exchange returned items as long as they're sent back to us complete with all packaging, tags and are unused (i.e. the same as they were received).

Normally refunds and exchanges will be processed on the same day the goods are received back by us. Please be aware that the funds can take up to 10 business days for the funds to clear into your account.

Orders from outside the UK: The cost of carriage for sending an exchange item to an overseas address will be payable before the replacement item is sent.

Exceptional Circumstances

Although I have attempted to factor it into the lead times, please remember that Covid-19 may cause any of my suppliers to close unexpectedly. If this were to happen, I would notify you ASAP, and I will offer a refund if the delay would mean the revised delivery date would be unacceptable to you.

Please also remember we're a tiny new company and we're learning as we grow. We aim to have 100% satisfaction, so please email u

If you have any questions, please contact me via, and I will endeavour to get back to you ASAP.
