Delivery Forecast - Week 20 Update

Hello everyone 👋

Please find the twentieth instalment of our weekly update below.

Week Ending 02/07/2021 (Friday)

What an exciting week. I'll quickly summarise below and delve into more depth for those interested after.

No Logo Mills - They have finally been received, I am delighted with how they look, and I've started assembling them this weekend. I will be continuing to build more and beginning to ship orders out this week for those who've said they like to receive their mills without the logo. I will be assembling the consignments in the order in which they were received.

Logo Trials - I was hoping to share the results of the trials with you by the end of the coming week, but as I put the plan together, I realised that it's likely to spill into early the following week (est. 14/07).

Logo Mills - If the first round of trials yields good results, 🤞 my estimate is to start delivering mills with logos by mid-August. The caveat, of course, being that the trial castings look GREAT.

A Slightly Deeper Dive

This week has been one of my most eagerly anticipated moments since I started Iron-Mills.

I finally have products to start assembling and shipping - I can't wait to hear what the early receivers think of their mills. 😃

The last few days have been a hive of activity, with lots of exciting events. First of which being me (Iron-Mills) featuring (very briefly) on ITV Westcountry News @ 6 pm on Wednesday (30/06).

I was approached on Friday (25/06) asking if I'd answer some questions around starting a business during the pandemic, we filmed a short clip on Monday (28/06) and the piece aired (YouTube link in post) on Wednesday.

Since airing, we've received so many kind emails and lots of support from people wanting to spur the business on, it's been lovely, and I'm very thankful.

The second piece of exciting news is that our packaging has finally been manufactured and is en route! I'm being told to expect to receive them within approx—forty-five days (mid to late August).

I have included some images of how the mills are looking thus far. I'm no photographer, so I will be enlisting the help of my uncle in the coming weeks to give me a hand taking some better shots.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me via:

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend and relishing the England result last night.
